Dear Family,

Thank you for making it this far. If you are reading these words written from my heart and with complete sincerity it is because you are searching for an education for your child that embraces holistic development. An education where your child can learn as the true protagonist of their journey, where their interests are seen as the essence of their talents, where they are respected, loved, and supported as they develop their personality and where families are always welcomed to take part in the everyday life of the school.

I know that choosing a school is not easy. Trusting others with your child is a challenge. That’s why I invite you to reflect on a few questions that may help you choose the best school: Is it important to you that your child comes to school happy and motivated?

This form also lets you schedule a visit to see our classrooms in action. We love welcoming new families and look forward to getting to know you, sharing our learning philosophy, and helping you feel at home at IMS.

Admissions Procedure

Applications are submitted online and can be completed at any time for the current academic year or future years. The earlier you submit your application, the greater your chances of securing a place.

The placement process for the upcoming academic year begins in March of the current school year. Priority is given to currently enrolled students, and any remaining places are then offered to new applicants. Depending on availability, new students may also be admitted after the school year has started, until all places are filled.

Admissions Process

  1. Request a Visit.
    • During your visit, you will have the opportunity to explore our facilities and the different learning environments for each educational stage.
    • We will be happy to answer any questions you may have about our educational model and curriculum.
  2. After the visit, we will send you a link via email to submit your application for a place.
  3. Once the application is submitted, you will receive a new link to complete the
    pre-enrollment process. During this stage:
    • Primary and Elementary students will be invited to meet their teacher and may spend some time in the classroom.
    • End-of-year school reports from the past two academic years will be requested (in English or Spanish), assuming your child has previously attended school.
    • A copy of the current academic year’s reports (if applicable).
    • A copy of the ID/NIE/Passport of the parent or guardian, and a copy of the student’s ID/NIE/Passport.
  4. The school will then send a welcome email from IMS International Montessori School, along with confirmation of place availability.
  5. Final step: reception of all required documentation and payment of the enrollment fee.
